Recording Condition Scores On The FarmWizard App
In this video we walk through recording condition scores on the FarmWizard App:
Recording Condition Scores On The FarmWizard App
There are a couple of ways you can record condition scores on the Farmwizard app. On the ‘Weigh screen’, just above the yellow grid, you will see a checkbox for ‘record condition score’. You can select that every time you scan a tag, the weight is imported from the EasyWeigh and at that moment, as the weights are imported, you’ll get a popup box prompting you to enter the condition score. Repeat the process for all the animals, when you end the scanning session, by pressing volume down, the weight and the condition score will be recorded for each animal.
The other route when recording condition scores on the FarmWizard App is through the home screen. Scroll the bottom of the home screen and you will see a ‘Condition Score’ option. This screen follows the same mode of action as the other screens, simply get the first animal ready to come into the race and press start scanning tags. Power on the stick reader and the app will report ready to scan tags. Scan the first tag and the App will prompt you for the Condition Score. You will be able to see if the animal has a previously recorded condition score, it will show you what it is and the date it was recorded. Enter the new score, tap ‘OK’ and keep scanning through your animals, entering the ‘Condition Scores’ as you go. When they are all recorded in the grid, end the scanning session by pressing volume down as usual.
If you are happy everything in the grid is correct, then select ‘OK’ and that will save your condition scores. You can press cancel which will take you back to the grid so that you can edit any of the information but you must then remember to press the save button at the bottom of the screen. You will receive confirmation your data has been saved, you are now free to leave this screen.
Go to ‘Recorded Events Management’ and select ‘View Pending Events’ and scroll down you will see a log of the condition scores recorded. When you are back within range of your internet connection, select ‘Synchronise’ and the conditions scores will be sent through to the server. You will then be able to access that information on your desktop.
