Dairy Event & Livestock Show 2009
The 2009 Dairy Event & Livestock Show takes place at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire on 16th and 17th September. The event will build on last year’s successful format, which broadens the technical and business information available to include beef, sheep and commercial goats.
The recent regional Farming Connections initiative from Sainsburys highlighted that only 1 in 5 livestock producers are using a computer to help run their businesses. The cost of computer hardware, be it a desktop or laptop computer is no longer an issue, but it is generally accepted that relatively low levels of computer literacy amongst farmers is one of the main reasons for this statistic.
The Orchid Herd Management software has been developed by people with direct farming experience and has accquired a reputation over the past 25 years as being very easy to use. Orchid will be exhibiting it’s range of cattle management software with specific versions available for beef and dairy enterprises. and it’s unique all-inclusive monthly software subscription includes unlimited telephone support and initial one-to-one training via broadband Internet. Orchid will be pleased to welcome visitors to it’s stand for a demonstration (Stand number EH1-127). See you there!
